How to Create a High-Quality Engagement Plan to Disseminate STEM Research and Innovations
Join the Evidence Quality and Reach Hub (EQR Hub) for a free webinar on creating high-quality engagement plans for sharing STEM research and innovations. Emily Loney, senior researcher and communication expert at the American Institutes for Research, will review the benefits of creating an engagement plan, introduce the main components of such a plan, and discuss what types of products get noticed by educational stakeholders (e.g., practitioners, policymakers, families and community members). Event materials will be archived on the CADRE website.

Audience: Current and aspiring National Science Foundation DRK-12 grantees; early career researchers interested in PreK–12 STEM or Knowledge Transformation; general public

Follow-Up Opportunity: All registrants will be invited to join a community of practice (CoP) to dig deeper into topics covered in the webinar and to develop their own engagement plan for a current or future research and design project. As part of the CoP experience, you will interact directly with subject matter experts and receive feedback on your engagement plans. Beginner and experienced aspiring and current NSF grantees welcome!
