In the wake of three years of disrupted learning, student academic achievement has started to rebound across the country. But in many districts, more catch-up is needed to reach pre-pandemic levels of achievement. What should we make of where we are on the road to academic recovery and what it implies for the future?
In this CALDER webinar we’ll hear from two experts studying school district improvement efforts up close and in real-time.
Emily Morton is a research scientist at NWEA and a lead researcher on CALDER’s Road to Recovery project, a collaboration between CALDER, NWEA, Harvard University and a consortium of 12 school districts focused on understanding the impact and implementation of academic recovery initiatives.
Carly Robinson is a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Annenberg Institute at Brown University and works with the National Student Support Accelerator to study and support high-impact tutoring interventions.
